Mr. Pheasant at my feeder.

What a pleasant surprise this morning. While I'm sitting her reading all my blogs that I follow.. I looked out to the North where my feeder is at the lilac bush.. Oh my,,,he is a big bird.. Hope no one shoots him...it's hunting season... we don't allow anyone to hunt on our property.. Hope Mr. Pheasant stays on our 40 acres... He is so beautiful~! Everyone should have ham or turkey to eat don't you think.. They don't need pheasant..
Have a great Monday..~!

Oh that's magnificent! We never see them here. You not only got his visit, but got to capture him for us too! :)

I see a few here and there in the yard -- mostly when there's a heavy snow.

They are such beautiful birds. Great photos! :)

I raised ringneck pheasants once. Very beautiful animals. I'm hoping to order some again for this summer.
